1 Introductions, apologies and substitutions
1.1 The Chair welcomed Members and members of the public to the meeting. Apologies for absence were received from Gwenda Thomas. There were no substitutes.
2 Inquiry into Poverty in Wales (Strand 1) - evidence session 10: Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty
2.1 The Committee received evidence from Lesley Griffiths AM, Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty and her officials.
2.2 During the session, the Minister agreed to provide the following:
- a note on work that has been carried out to map the impact of economic policy on poverty;
- the Discretionary Assistance Fund expenditure profile figures from November 2014 until the end of this financial year.
3 Papers to note
3.1 The Committee noted the papers.
4 Motion under Standing Order 17.42 (vi) to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting and from item 1 of the meeting on 22 January 2015 (approach to scrutiny of the Local Government (Wales) Bill, subject to introduction)
